ABOUT SAM BETTENS

Sam Bettens is a transgender Belgian/American artist and the multi-platinum voice behind K’s Choice, now fully embracing a Country/Americana chapter with Coming Home. Shaped by 15 years living in East Tennessee, including time as a full-time firefighter, and his transition, Bettens’ songwriting is grounded, honest, and deeply human.

Recorded in Nashville with producer Tom Bukovac, Coming Home blends classic country and Americana with timeless singer-songwriter craft. It’s a record meant to be lived with, vinyl on the turntable, stories unfolding slowly, and a voice that carries the weight of experience.

Coming Home is not a genre shift, it’s a homecoming. Rooted in real life, open roads, and quiet reflection, the album captures Americana with warmth and authenticity.
